The Watt Wizard, from Coastal Climate Control, Inc., is a cost effective tool for monitoring both DC electrical charging devices, such as solar, wind, etc., and DC loads such as refrigeration, water maker, lights, etc.
The Watt Wizard is simple to install and operate, and shows instantaneous volts, amps, and watts, plus resettable accumulative amp/hours and run time. Numerous alarms can be set, and a relay can be connected to facilitate disconnecting the charging device or load under alarm conditions.
