This experiment is done to test the simulation. Both objects generate waves, and the further they go, they cancel each other creating patterns, so in the distance (far top) there are lines where the waves are just not affecting and stay the same.
Sadly the impact of the waves on the open border is not perfect due to numerical error and some part of the waves are returned breaking the effect a little at the end.
