We Are Getting Close!

The final phases of a Lycoming 0320 E2D engine overhaul and JPI 900 engine monitor install. 3 months, almost to the day and we are almost there. Looking back I didn’t realize how big of a project this was until it almost over. The JPI 900- engine monitor- is something that requires a lot of programming to install in the aircraft, and there is a lot more to it than just installing it- for one thing the fuel system needs to be calibrated so you have to completely drain your tanks, and add fuel by 5 gallon increments and it takes a while. You'll have to make sure your fuel tank senders are in good shape. So from here, the process is: an initial start up, run and mag check to check for any leaks- this should be as brief as possible and to make sure all the sensors in the JPI are functioning,… so are you ready??? And the good news is everything worked! Yes! I bought an airplane! This program has some initial numbers and breaks down the monthly expenses.
