We build a forged EA888 3 Engine

We decided to forge our development cars engine. The engine is running in our Golf7.5R and we decided that the turbochagers we testing will all easily exceed the 500WHP mark and for this to be a reliable effort, we will need to build the engine. We took the opportunity to also develop a port and CNC machine process to port turbine housing and Cylinder head for additional flow to do a back to back test on the dyno without changing anything else other than having built a forged engine. The Forged internals weigh more than the stock internals, so lets see what the dyno graphs show us once we get there with the back to back testing. In this video you'll see alot of information showing many steps we took and CNC machining of our IS38-600 turbine housing inlet ports aswell as the Cylinder head porting to mate to the turbine housing.
