Big Bend National Park in Texas is known for its hot and dry climate, but we saw a different side when we visited during January's Arctic blast. It was cold, moody, and gave us a unique perspective of the park. Camping was chilly, hikes were brisk, and traveling over the border to Boquillas del Carmen was an adventure.
