It's a hard-driving, metal-adjacent rock track built on a medium tempo with 16th note energy, strained-melodic vocals, and a full-band sound that hits from that start. This was written during a moment of national tension and grief, not to make a statement, but to reflect on how difficult - and necessary - it is to see the humanity in others, even while emotions run high. The vocals balance grit and tenderness, matching the theme of trying to hold onto compassion during complicated moments.
