NOAA 15, 18 and 19 constantly broadcast the view and pictures from orbit to ground weather stations, and anyone can intercept the signal, decode it and see a stunning "live" scene of our planet from space.
In this video, I set up a homemade antenna to capture the NOAA signal at 137Mhz, measure the doppler shift and calculate velocity and distance from us to the satellite..
