This is my variation of the Mark Zagger "Pipe Dream" bedding method. In the past, I have struggled keeping my canine traps firing in all weather conditions. This year, I have already seen success with this method in rain, snow, freeze, thaw conditions on a number of animals all the way down to small possums. This red fox broke a rut that I was in, on a trap that had not been touched in 10 days, but still worked perfectly with a deep pad catch.
