Webinar 6: Utilization and Dissemination
The Evaluation Fundamentals Series was developed as part of AIM-Local Health, a research project of the Prevention Research Center (PRC) at Washington University in St. Louis and funded by the National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases (NIDDK: R01DK109913; CDC PRC: U48DP006395); purpose: to enhance use of evidence-based diabetes control among local health departments. The series includes six webinars developed by the PRC in partnership with the Brown School Evaluation Center at Washington University in St. Louis and National Association of County & City Health Officials (NACCHO) Research and Evaluation with the overall goal to build participants’ skills and confidence in developing or strengthening program evaluation plans. Webinar 6: Utilization and Dissemination Learning objectives: o Identify and describe the elements of dissemination planning o Explain the ways evaluation results could be used and the key elements involved (emphasize program improvement while implementing the program) o Identify ways to engage stakeholders in utilization and dissemination o Best practices for data visualization, product development
