The plaintiff says he paid the defendant to use a ballroom from 7 p.m. to 2 a.m. for his wedding reception. But at midnight, the defendant entered the room, turned on the lights, and shut off the DJ. Guests began to leave, and his bride started crying. He is suing for a refund. The defendant says the plaintiff’s wedding planner asked for two extra setup hours, and the bride refused to pay for them.
