This gives a run down on a modern state of the art stick welder. It is the Migatronic fucus stick 161E. You can weld with rods comfortably from 2mm to 4mm. I give its specs and show a few simple jobs I have used it for as well as run a weld on cleaned ground metal to see the difference in penetration and slag residue. A run down on the basic tools needed for welding is shown. Many small jobs are shown such as tool fixing, trailer, gate hinge, wood stove and fire grates.
