My Wired Electro-Mechanical Sequencer, uses Meccano parts to automate several motors within a larger displaymodel. The Sequence is easily re-arranged just by moving some paperclips. Almost everything can be done with Meccano parts, but I bought a 4 pole 2 way toggle switch, a couple of microswitches and 4 diodes to simplify things. The railway display was thrown together quickly as a way of demonstrating the Sequencer. More elaborate machines with longer sequences are possible, like my 'Mystic Mec the Fortune Teller', which has 32 steps and 13 motors. No computer required!
