I show you how to make a backsaw commonly known as a carcass saw . I made this saw from an old saw plate I bought at an antique store /flee market for ~$5.
The saw handle is made from hickory and the back is solid brass. The saw has a nice weight and cuts well. I think you're going to save $200 to $400 by making this carcass saw yourself. Please enjoy and let me know you have questions.
