What Causes Our First Panic Attack?
In my last video debunking the 5 most prevalent myths about panic attacks I pointed out that the best way to manage panic attacks is to not have them in the first place. However, suggesting that we just don’t have them anymore is a little dismissive considering we’re already trying pretty hard not to. But contrary to how it feels whether or not we have a panic attack isn’t entirely outside of our control. I’m Tim Box - remedial hypnotist and Mind Coach. I work 1-2-1 with people to help them overcome all sorts of emotional and psychological issues and in particular to help them get the other side of high anxiety and panic. In this video I explain the one thing I didn’t cover in that previous episode..and that is what causes that very first instance of panic. I’m going to take you through the reasons why our mind hits the panic button for the first time and how understanding this can help us avoid it happening in the future.
