We knew it was supposed to rain, so we planned accordingly. We started the day off at the Virginia Museum of the Civil War at New Market.
Several locals told us we had to visit Luray Caverns, so we thought it would be a good day. We also visited the Carriage and Car Museum at the caverns. It had a large collection of cars and carriages.
We saw the Luray Carillon Tower but didn't get too close since it was raining.
It turned out to be a great day even in the rain.
