Characters: Clovereagle ( white tom ) and Acornfall ( Amber she-cat) Acornfall has always had trouble with Clan life; as a kit born to a medicine cat, she desperatly wanted to run away with her sister Cloudthistle - but couldn’t as their brother, Nighthallow loved Clanlife and refused to let the two of them go. Because of this Acornfall grows up feeling restless with the urge that her life could be something else. One day, Clovereagle takes a notice to her. Clovereagle is the son of the Clans leader, and is therefore also delighted with Clan life. Clovereagle is simpleminded, and loves that his life in the Clan is already picked out for him. As the two of them become mates, his biggest wish is that Acornfall could feel the same. The day Acornfall finds out she’s expecting kits, Clovereagle is over the moon - and Acornfall wants to be too, but she can’t quite seem to connect with her kits the way Clovereagle does. That is untill the day their son, Marshkit, is kidnapped. A search party goes out for him, but Acornfall can’t wait, and goes out to find him herself. The rescue is succesful, and Marshkit gets saved by Acornfall - but Clovereagle is absoutely terrified that his mate would go out without him. After all, the two of them are a team… right?
