Professor John Dickinson is an Exercise Respiratory Physiologist at Marylebone Health Group(CHHP) and is a Professor in Sports and Exercise Sciences at the University of Kent. Prof Dickinson has over 16 years of experience in Sports and Exercise Science, completing his Bachelor's degree in Sports Science in 2002 at Bangor University in Wales. In 2003, Prof Dickinson began working at the Olympic Medical Institute in Northwick Park Hospital as a research assistant. During this position, he began his PhD research surrounding the prevalence, diagnosis and treatment of exercise-induced asthma in elite athletes. In 2004, he became a research physiologist at the English Institute of Sport where he further investigated respiratory problems in elite athletes.
