What is 'Rasterizing' in Affinity Photo?
Rasterizing is conversion to pixels and appears in two places in Affinity Photo, where it can be very useful. Here's all about it. Note: From version 1.7 onwards, Rasterize is replaced by Rasterize and Rasterize and Trim. 'Rasterize and Trim' acts like 'Rasterize' in versions 1.6 and below, cutting away non-visible image components. 'Rasterize' changes so it 'squares up' the image, so such as the Perspective Tool appears vertical/horizontal rather than tilted. Overall, though, Rasterizing is still effectively a kind of 'flatten layer' function. A video has been added to describe this change.
