The structured-light 3D scanner projects thin strips of light onto an object’s surface, which distorts the light. The 3D scanner’s camera simultaneously captures and measures distance and distortion to calculate a 3D model. Learn more at: https://holocreators.com/3d-scanning-services/structured-light-3d-scanner/
A computer interprets the data received from different angles and perspectives and multiple strips of light projected across the 3D object. A point cloud (3D model) of the object is calculated from this input data.
