Sharing something I've been collecting in my stash & what I use it for! Talking about... *About #Stashcast (#Stashcast is one of my podcast segments where I share what's in my art/intuitive stash. I'll tell you what it is, what it's used for & how, why I bought it, & what I've done with it so far (in the case that I've worked with it)! This is partially for your education, but also to share ideas & inspiration. It also lets you see "inside of the mind of the artist", which is one of my main goals & intentions here!) *What I've Stashed (So before I dive into this I want to say this is gonna be a real quick one. I'm trying to ease back into my regular posting schedule and it's taking me more time than I'd like because I'm trying to jump into where I was with a set up I don't have anymore. Without further adieu though, here's a quick little nod to my needle/shuttle tatting thread collection...which in reality is just whatever I can get my hands on really. There's not any fiber that isn't necessarily not suited to it (unless you're talking about singles as those tend to be spun lightly enough and aren't strong enough for a lot of tugging on them.) *Where I got it (The Aunt Lydia's I've gotten mostly from Michaels, but also some was donated and I've just picked some up in random places I can't remember anymore.) *What it's used for in general (These threads can be used for pretty much anything you want smaller basically.) *What I'm using it for (It's all for my shuttle tatting mostly at this point, what's meant to be quick little practice projects that I can, in theory, take with me to the day job or quickly work with whenever.) *What I've done with it so far (Just some bits and bobs here and there.) ***Today's Questions: Do you have any tatting thread in your stash?
