When it rains
Children look at nature innocently and with an open mind. The size, shape, colour and movements of animals fascinate them intensely and sharpen their skills of observation. By instinct, children love to watch the rain and play in the rain. Rains give them an unusual opportunity to witness the celebrations of plants and animals around them. The very small but hard working ants, worms and caterpillars, flowers of innumerable shades, the birds, the bees and the butterflies, the frogs and fish in the pond, the dragon flies, the chameleon… all tell them something about the love and care they receive from Mother Nature. The child in the film relates Mother Nature to her own mother and is moved by the compassion she observes among the members of a bird family. The film underlines the fact that exposing children to the nature is the best way to instill an interest in them about the environment. Once a genuine interest is cultivated, they would remain attached to the nature and will always keep in mind that it is their duty to safeguard Mother Nature and do everything to protect her.
