I wrote these lyrics in response to the Israeli massacre of Palestinians in the West Bank town of Jenin (2002). As usual, the "incident" was papered over by the kind of cynical (or evil if you like) "diplomats" mentioned in the lyrics and Israel was never fully held to account. The same kind thing has happened with increasing frequency ever since. This whole war with Iran is the same thing on a broader scale. It is past time that we stopped acquiescing in Israeli malfeasance and did something tangible to stop it.
