Where Else Would I Go?
Where Else Would I Go is a worshipful conversation between Yahshua and the believing heart — an invitation and a response. The song unfolds through the words of Messiah, calling the weary not to religion or performance, but to abide. Drawing from the Gospels, it reveals a faith rooted in closeness, union, and dwelling — not distance. As the song builds, the voice shifts. The call of Yahshua is met with Peter’s confession: “Master, to whom shall we go? You have the words of everlasting life.” That question becomes the anchor of the song — the cry of every heart that has found there is no life, no truth, and no home apart from Him. This is a song of surrender, loyalty, and love. Not striving. Not leaving. Just remaining. Where Else Would I Go? Verse 1 Come to Me, all who are weary All who are heavy and worn I don’t call you to religion I’m calling you to be reborn I am the door, I am the pathway I am the truth and the light If you would only draw near Me You would find life in My life “Come to Me… and I will give you rest.” (Matthew 11:28) “Remain in Me, and I in you.” (John 15:4) Pre-Chorus I don’t want your distant worship I don’t want your hollow praise I want your heart, I want your dwelling I want you close, I want you stayed Abide in Me, don’t drift away I never asked you to perform I asked you just to stay with Me To be My own, to be reborn Chorus Abide in Me, and I’ll abide in you Like the branch in the vine, let My life flow through I am not far, I am not hard to find I am standing at the door of your heart and your mind Abide in Me, don’t walk away This is where you were meant to stay I am the life you’re searching for I am the home you’ve been longing toward “I am the way, the truth, and the life.” (John 14:6) “If anyone loves Me, he shall guard My Word, … …and We shall come to him and make Our stay with him.” (John 14:23) “I no longer call you servants… I call you friends.” (John 15:15) Verse 2 I am the bread that was broken For every hunger you hide I am the well in the desert I am the water of life If you would drink, you’d never thirst again If you would stay, you’d never be alone I didn’t save you for a distance I saved you to bring you home “If anyone thirsts, let him come to Me and drink.” (John 7:37) “Behold, I stand at the door and knock.” (Revelation 3:20) Bridge You ask me if I love You You ask me once again You know my heart, You know my weakness You know where I have been You ask me if I love You And I can’t hide the truth You know that You are everything I don’t have life without You “Where else would I go? Who else would I run to? You alone have the words of life.” Words of life Words of life Chorus – Repeat Abide in Me, and I’ll abide in you Like the branch in the vine, let My life flow through I am not far, I am not hard to find I am standing at the door of your heart and your mind Abide in Me, don’t walk away This is where you were meant to stay I am the life you’re searching for I am the home you’ve been longing toward Outro Where else would I go? Who else would I be? You are the breath that is living in me Where else would I run? Who else would I choose? There is no life, there is no love There is no truth apart from You So I will remain I will not leave I will abide, I will believe “Remain in My love” Scripture References Matt 11:28 Jn 6:68 Jn 7:37 Jn 14:6, 23 Jn 15:4, 9, 15 Rev 3:20 Jn 21:15–17 #Israel #bibleverse #yahweh #yahwehmusic #truename #biblical #bible #Scripturemusic #truths #Yashua #Yahshua #Yeshua #YHWH #Abide #Christianmusic #youarenear #bibleversemusic #myjourney #thegoodnews #Israel #Shema #Christian #Scripture #truenamemusic #torahobservant #messianic
