Why Batman v Superman Doesn't Work - Using Four Corner Opposition

Why Doesn't Batman v Superman work? Is it the characters? The pacing? The running time? The portrayal of iconic superheroes? The dark tone? The muddled plot? Style over substance? Its actually the structure. And using the Four Corner Opposition or Three Point Opposition concept that I discovered from John Truby and his book The Anatomy of Story, I explain what is Four Corner Opposition. I also make up a western that fits the template, use the template for the film Man of Steel (2013), and then try to fit the template for Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice (2016). To close out the video we do some "structure surgery", to see how the film could be reconstructed or changed in order to go down a bit more smooth.
