Why I Quit Teaching

I taught for three years at a wonderful school in Brooklyn, New York. I don't regret my time teaching *at all*. I am so grateful for everything I learned, and especially for the relationships I built with students! It was a very tough decision to quit, but it turned out to be what I needed to do for my physical and mental well-being. I maintain that teaching is the hardest job that exists, especially in America. I have the utmost admiration and awe for teachers because it's TOUGH work, but I'm certain it's the surest way to change the world.
