I touched the sky but it turned to ash The stars fell silent A hollow crash Every step I take feels the same Like I’m walking through smoke Forgetting my name The mirrors don’t lie But they don’t tell the truth Is this a dream or a broken loop This might not be real No this might not be real The ground feels too soft The wounds never heal Am I lost or just waiting Stuck in-between A phantom world Or the space where I’ve been I heard the clock but it won’t tick right The sun won’t rise It’s a constant night I screamed for help but the echo laughed Like the walls were alive Playing tricks on my path If I close my eyes Will it all just reset Or am I trapped in the things I regret This might not be real No this might not be real The air tastes like shadows The scars never heal Am I paying the price Or am I still dreaming A phantom world Or a purgatory gleaming
