Inspired by Billy Joel's Always a Woman, this song captures the full juxtaposition of what it means to be a woman — creator, mirror, saint, sinner. Whatever you give her, she amplifies back. She's not picture perfect, but she's a picture of you. Wild Horses was written in London and recorded in LA and Nashville with a live band. It is a women's liberation anthem for the Year of the Fire Horse — for every woman in your lineage who stayed when she wanted to leave, who made herself smaller so that you could eventually take up more space.
