A women's boxy chore jacket that's perfect for layering in winter and styling with dresses and lighter tops in Spring. The sleeves are designed to be worn rolled up to reveal a sneak peak of the lining, and the oversized jacket is finished with topstitching around the structured collar and curved patch pockets. I am 5ft7 (170cm) and in this video tutorial I made the Willow jacket in a size small using Cotton Twill 215GSM (6.4 oz/yd²). For the lining I used a Polycotton 200GSM (5.9 oz/yd²). What does the sewing pattern include?: • Written instructions accompanied by detailed digitally-drawn images • A4 file & US Letter file (print at home) • A0 copy shop file • Projector file Sewing Level: Intermediate What fabric should I use? Medium-weight woven fabrics with structure to help the jacket hold its shape while maintaining comfort. Suitable options include Cotton Twill, Denim, medium-weight Canvas, Cotton Drill, Wool blends, structured Linen blends, Corduroy, and Cotton Gabardine. Recommended lining fabrics include light- to medium-weight woven fabrics that provide a smooth finish and comfortable wear. Suitable options include Silk, Cotton, Rayon/Viscose blends, Acetate, and Cupro. Recommended main fabric weight: 200GSM to 350gsm (6-10.5 oz/yd²) Recommended lining fabric weight: 100GSM to 250gsm (3-7.5 oz/yd²) How much fabric do I need?
