Winchester Model 190

Here we visit with the Winchester Model 190 which is the product of the "post 64" Winchester era with an estimated birth date of 1977. The design originated with the Model 290 introduced in 1964 which was a "deluxe" model......the 190 is the "economy" version of this model made as a plain jane equipped workhorse type of .22 autoloader. This introduced the "new era" of Winchester products which is a kind of "cut off date" for some......... If you go by the common opinion out there, this is a mediocre rifle at best that is not reliable or worthy of the Winchester name but I wholeheartedly disagree. I found this rifle to be plain jane and no frills for sure, but also an incredibly accurate performer for me and flawless operationally. I was VERY impressed. Need some help here.....FIND ME THE DESIGNER AND THE PATENTS! Time for you guys to show me how much I've taught you about research!
