Windows BSOD Evolution (1985 - 2024)
Once again, Windows 11 has changed the colour of the Blue Screen of Death (BSOD) back to the iconic blue. Here's a video showing how the BSOD has evolved, with several black screen variants used from 1985 to 2021. Changes from previous video: Windows 11 Build 22499.1010 includes a new BSOD in a darker navy color. Windows 3.0 and 3.1 'Ctrl-Alt-Del' screens removed due to not being an actual 'system crash'. All server variant crashes were also included from Server 2012 onwards. Screenshots from BetaWiki and myself.
