This animation is a simulation of a wing flapping mechanism. I find a free hawk picture and cut it into five sections. As you can see joints are not as good as I want. To get smooth transitions is rather complex process. I was focusing on the mechanism, so I did not worry much about perfectness of the bird animation. I am planning to make similar animations with different linkage systems. One should not forget that a bird wing flapping is a rather complex mechanism than one can imagine.
