Also in that same year, Sugar Hiccup was nominated for Best New Artist at the NU ROCK AWARDS, as well as in three other categories, and Melody for Vocalist of the Year. Then the following year, the band swept the awards of the same category they won in the year before at the KATHA MUSIC AWARDS, and won NU ROCK AWARDS for Song of the Year, and Melody for Vocalist of the Year. Two years later, the band was nominated in two categories at the KATHA MUSIC AWARDS for Best Alternative Vocal Performance and Best Alternative Song.
