Wood rack build using an adapted Wood Whisperer design: https://thewoodwhisperer.com/videos/racking-my-brain/?as=144&mode=posts&ap=1&apt=video The impact driver was a Makita, DTD154RTJ ordered from PowerTool World UK. The fixings, drillbit and glue are: 63363 x 1 Easyfix General Purpose Threaded Coach Bolts Carbon Steel Bright Zinc-Plated M10 x 130mm 50 Pack £15.99 447FT x 1 Easyfix Steel Large Flat Washers M10 x 2.5mm 100 Pack £7.19 9569H x 1 Easydrive Countersunk Concrete Screws 7.5 x 180mm 100 Pack £24.39 8685V x 1 DeWalt SDS Plus Shank Extreme 2 SDS Plus Bit 6 x 210mm £3.69 989HP x 1 Evo-Stik Super Concentrate PVA 5Ltr £17.99 2761H x 1 Turbo II TX Double-Countersunk Multipurpose Screws 4 x 60mm 200 Pack £13.69 The wood was nominally 2"x4" but you can only by metric sizes these days in the UK and was slightly under these dimensions. I got these from Buildbase, and I was rather miffed that they quote 100x50 as the size but in reality it's less than this. I think in reality most people don't care about the exact dimensions. Here is what I ordered: 15 x Homegrown CLS 50 x 100mm x 3.0m - 110914030 £4.97 (ex VAT) Buildbase AX Part Number - GM000125046/VAR0000943 5 x Homegrown CLS 50 x 100mm x 3.6m - 1109140/3.6 £6.37 (ex VAT) CLS = Canadian Lumber Standard which seems to have a variety of definitions but from what I can make out means that it's strong enough to build houses, is generally knot free and most likely has rounded edges (although I'm not sure if that's part of the definition). Trying to buy generic square edged timber these days seems to be quite hard although I suppose respectable timber merchants might be able to supply it. The OSB I just had lying around from previous projects - it's 19mm think.
