Woodturning A (basic) Router Base For A Rotary Tool

I bought a rotary tool at a garage sale the other day. With it came a number of carving bits, some grinding and polishing bits plus cutting wheels and sanding disks. What was missing was a router base. I decided to make a simple one on the lathe.
