Woodturning: Making A Ladle

In this video, I show how to create a completely turned wooden ladle. It's a multi-axis turning that gets a bit risky towards the end! It's first turned between centers, and then I create a wooden jam chuck that I use to hold the ladle while I hollow out the bowl. During that part of the process, the handle spins around like a propeller! This is a fun and fast project, but it does require a bit of skill. I would not recommend this as your very first turning.
