Working Backwards: Problem Solving Strategy 3

Two players take turns at removing 1 to 4 coins from an original pile of 16 coins. Is there a winning strategy for either player? These short videos are meant for instructors or students wishing to give a practical framework to problem-solving. We first introduce a three-step process: Understanding, Strategizing, and Implementing. We then present 10 strategies (Posamentier & Krulik, 2015) and explain each of them individually in separate videos.
