Today June 22, 2021 Khan and I are working on the dock project extending the dock in the east-west direction for 56 feet to create a "T" with the main north-south dock. One of the stringers was badly twisted from sitting out in the sun for years and needs to be straightened. Straightening by twisting the stringer timber was accomplished by using a vertical timber bolted to the end of the stringer as a level arm to create a twisting torque by applying a force to the top of the vertical timber in the direction twist is desired. During the work, a dragon fly landed on me to rest and dry out. The end of the video shows the dragon fly and what a beautiful specimen it is.
