The following are suggestions for you to release judgment of others: 1. Find empathy and compassion: Move to a place of uncovering why they might be the way they are. It could be due to upbringing or personal hardships. 2. See their humanity: Realize that the person is human and see them more as a person than as “an ideal” that is supposed to be flawless. 3. Replace the judgment: Delve into a different part of their personality that outshines that judgment. Notice the good part of them. Perhaps they are attentive or they have a great sense of humor. Decide to keep your attention on the attributes you prefer. 4. Make the judgment less important: Ask yourself, “Does this judgment really matter?” Find the humor and let it go. 5. Erase the judgment: Another way to release the judgment is to be willing to wipe the slate clean. Just see yourself discarding your opinion and creating a new positive one. I also suggest that you journal your personal breakthroughs. It's very empowering to track your life experiences and growth. Your Coach, Kimberly Jentzen
