Workshop: How to Prepare for Going Abroad

In this workshop, Brianna Harrison equips participants with a practical framework for navigating cross-cultural environments across Asia and beyond. The session explores the foundations of culture — from Hofstede's Six Dimensions and Molinsky's cultural framework to the often-overlooked iceberg of visible versus invisible cultural norms. It also examine how communication styles, power dynamics, and social values differ across countries, including China, South Korea, Japan, and others represented within NABEA's community.
