Originally written (and possibly still maintianed?) by Bob Nystrom, this is a small, fast, VM based language with concurrency. Wren is inspired by several languages including Smalltalk, Erlang, and other C based languages. I overall found the syntax very concise, and it was a nice language to play around with. Programmers who have used Python will be at home with many of the productivity features, but I also found the use of Fibers very trivial to use. Finally, in the video we'll run an embedded version of the scripting language for fun. I was inspired initially to do this, as the language has come up on hacker news several times. Overall -- it did not disappoint, and there are some game engines (e.g. https://luxeengine.com/) using this language. As always, let me know what resources/tools I missed that others should know about in the comments below! ►YouTube Channel: https://www.youtube.com/c/MikeShah ►Please like and subscribe to help the channel! ►Join our free community: https://courses.mshah.io/communities/Q29tbXVuaXR5LTI3MzAz
