WREXHAM AFC KOP CONSTRUCTION UPDATE | MASSIVE PROGRESS A huge day on the Wrexham AFC Kop construction site as serious progress continues across the entire footprint. Both core structures have taken fresh concrete, groundworks are accelerating, and activity around the base is stepping up as we edge closer to the next major phase. From early morning through to evening, crews were hard at work pouring concrete, installing rebar, clearing formwork, and preparing key areas for what’s coming next. You can now clearly see the transformation happening on site as the foundations begin to lock into place ahead of the arrival of the structural steel. There’s also growing speculation around the incoming cranes, with strong signs pointing toward a major installation near the student flats. With ground preparation already underway in that area, it feels like we’re on the verge of something big.
