Writing projects completed by experts require management because they produce unique messages. Like all projects, writing projects are subject to the triple constraints. Writers cannot produce high quality messages without being constrained by either time or cost. Every writer who refuses to invest time or money into their project will produce a low quality message. This makes tools and techniques for minimizing time and cost a priority.
