X Rigging Friction Tools 2015

I quickly put this video together in two days (with practically no sleep) to go along with my recent article for treebuzz titled: 'Where should friction be in our rope rigging systems?' Also similar article will be showing up in ArbClimber magazine in spring of 2015. Mark Chisholm of treebuzz asked if I had any video to go along with the article. It's long overdue, so I did my best with limited time to put one together that related to it. I didn't show all camera angles, I didn't organize the video real well, I just filled it with clips I came across as I skimmed through job videos. This is not an entertainment video; this one is more for those that are curious about the X-Rigging Rings and the new THT coming out. My first few years using X Rings I used them mainly for re-directs and medium weights. Now that I have been rigging major weights with them for all of 2014 (more weight than what I used to do with blocks) and see the benefits, I'll never use blocks for negative rigging again if I have rings around. Another video Lawrence did a while back is called, "The Beast Ring Boys"; that shows big weights as well using only the X-Rigging Rings. I ramble on when I'm exhausted with no sleep; I'm going to stop now ;-)
