Year 13/A2 Pure Chapter 11.11 (Integration)
After introducing the integration technique of separating the variables in the previous video, we now look at how this can be applied to model real-world scenarios, which typically involve either exponential growth or decay. I have included two extra worked examples to delve slightly deeper into the application of exponential models to radioactive decay, as for various reasons there isn't much scope for exploration of this topic in the book, despite it being mathematically relevant. This lesson is meant as preparation for Exercise 11K page 328 of the Pearson Edexcel Pure Mathematics Year 2/A2 Textbook.
