Yellowjackets: Things You Missed

Did you notice how many easter eggs and hints were dropped throughout Showtime’s Yellowjackets? I had to go behind the scenes to find out everything I could about any upcoming plot points or things you could miss with just one watch-through. With major names like Christina Ricci and Elijah Wood on the show, you know it’s gonna be stellar. Something pretty interesting as a recurring theme of the show is the mysterious friendship necklace. It seems to make its way through the group of girls, always ending up on one who meets a tragic end. There are also some major hints dropped with the music that was meticulously thought and planned out by the music supervisors. I also have some big theories about who our Antler Queen could be, mostly due to one perfectly timed shot that seems to be giving a major clue. There was also an astounding amount of foreshadowing about what happens to Jackie, even some eerie lines said by both her and Taissa. It’s like the writers were telling us exactly what would happen to her right under our noses. There’s also a lot to say about the visions that these girls keep having – one in particular being Lottie. Do you think she really saw what would happen to Laura Lee when she got on that plane?
