After some simple assembly and suspension setup, your new 160E is almost ready to hit the trails. This video gives an overview of how the Shimano power unit and its components operate, including charging, mode changing and broad coverage of the E-Tube Project app.
The 160E comes loaded with ride modes that will work for many riders. Connecting to the app is not necessary, but doing so enables riders to tailor ride modes to suit a wide variety of preferences and riding styles.
