World Harmony Chorus performs Yolanda, a Cuban song by Pablo Milanés, under the direction of Daniel Steinberg, Palo Alto, January, 2026. Yolanda is a Cuban classic by the renowned singer Pablo Milanés who, with Silvio Rodríguez and a few others in the 1960's, founded the Nueva Trova musical movement in post-revolution Cuba. The two of them frequently performed Yolanda as a duet. Milanés wrote Yolanda as a tribute to his then-wife, and it remains one of his most enduring songs.
