You Got Something, written in October 2023 and recently finished in April 2025, was like many of my songs, starting with a bunch of chords and ideas, some gleaned from other tunes I wrote. It went through a number of variations with rough drafts and lyrics until I settled with this version. Had a lot of fun putting the pieces together including 4 different chord progressions in the verses which I actually didn't think of at first, but that's what the universe helped me with. The song is clearly pointing at how a strong relationship means everything. The song kept building and that too wasn't planned but I went with the feelings and the flow. Just LOVE music!
