You & I: a conversation

We're touring the USA this September / October 2023! Tickets at https://vallisalps.komi.io In 2020, we met up in Australia to go through mediation together. We had spent two tumultuous years writing our album, and the toll of constant disagreements, taste differences, and communication breakdowns brought us to the brink of throwing the album out and giving up on Vallis Alps altogether. What followed was a period of reckoning. Mediation forced us to acknowledge all parts of ourselves and each other, and laid out actionable plans for salvaging our band -- but ultimately, it left us with a decision. Do we put our pride aside and rebuild our friendship, or is Vallis over? This is the story of our new song "You & I" -- and more broadly, the story of us.
