You’re Greeding Items Too Hard
Gameplay is from May 13th on Patch 17.3. Rank: https://tactics.tools/player/na/Esilio/cook In this coaching session with Esilio, we focus on one of the biggest differences between average and challenger level TFT: tempo slamming. A lot of players lose games because they greed components for “perfect items” instead of building strong boards early and preserving tempo. In this session, we break down when you should slam aggressively, why players hesitate to do it, and how strong item tempo creates winning positions before Stage 4 even starts. This is mostly a normal high elo vod review session, but we spend extra time discussing: when to slam items early why greed loses games preserving HP through stronger tempo understanding item flexibility and how challenger players think about board strength compared to ladder players. We also go over common situations where players incorrectly hold components and fall behind the lobby. 🧠 In this video, we cover: • Tempo slamming fundamentals • When to slam vs greed items • Preserving HP through stronger boards • Why BIS greed loses games • Midgame board strength concepts • Flexible itemization • Understanding tempo advantage • Stage 3 and Stage 4 stabilization • Playing strongest board correctly • High elo decision making 🎯 This video will help you: • Stop dying with unused components • Build stronger midgame boards • Understand challenger-level tempo • Improve consistency on ladder • Learn when greed is actually bad • Convert more games into top 4s 🧠 Want Personalized Coaching?
